Dear Sensei, I would like to take this opportunity to invite you and your dojo to our 23nd Annual Traditional Karate-do Invitational Championships. Our championship was started over two decades ago to continue the tradition and legacy of my teacher, Master Toyotaro Miyazaki. Our event will be a day to get together with all of our karate friends to celebrate our art being included in the Buenos Aires 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games and the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics Games. For those that practice karate as a sport, it was a dream come true in our lifetime. Our championship will take place on Sunday May 7, 2017 at Queens College located at 65-30 Kissena Blvd. in Flushing, New York USA. Please come and join us, to celebrate traditional karate-do in New York and the world. Our championship is one of the original New York Traditional Karate League, sanctioned events and our goal is to provide quality tournaments in New York, United States and the World. The league has done a lot of great things and continues to recognize and honor our dedicated athletes, officials and staff from our karate community. Our championship will begin at 8:00am with our opening ceremonies and the adult grand champion Kata and Kumite winners will receive a special Grand Champion trophy. Competition as always, promises to be as exciting and challenging as ever. I hope that you can join us and be a part of our history.
